I made this sculpted side table out of some very nice curly maple I found locally. In addition to some very nice figuring the grain has tints of rose coloration throughout the piece. I have to admit this table was a little hard to package up and let go of!
Dimensions: 24″L x 16″W x 27″H
Here’s a recently completed trestle table I made out of lightly spalted maple. The live edge top and base are made out of three slabs from the same set.
This is a sculpted table made out of cherry I recently finished. It’s almost identical to many of the sculpted tables I’ve done in the past. However, for this table I played around with shaping the top of the legs on the base. I wanted to add some visual interest to this part of the peice and was struck by how this slight change affected the overall look and feel of the table.
The maple console table was a design a client brought to me. The cherry step stool is a slightly modernized twist of a shaker step stool.
These are some examples of work I’ve done for clients who have brought me designs found on the internet but want handmade quality. This group of pieces starts with a custom queen murphy bed, a bookcase with fold down sit/stand desks, a corner bookcase with seating and a walnut corner media center.
